Bush wins big, what next?

Governors - at least break-even (possible pickup for GOP in Washington State pending count of absentee ballots).

State Legislatures - some gains in total members and chambers controlled, but not all returns available yet.

US House - gain of three or four seats, tempered by loss of Phil Crane of Illinois.

US Senate - amazing gain of four seats to 55-44-1.

Bush appeared Wednesday to thank supporters. It was a great sight to see, especially Jenna showing just the right amount of cleavage (eat your heart out Alexandra Kerry). Then the president went into his speech and it was all downhill from there.
