Fox News Channel employees stingy, but favor Democrats

WorldNetDaily.com reports today on patterns of giving by employees of CBS, NBC and Fox. No one will be surprised to hear that Fox is the least Democrat of the three, but the fact that the networks' employees' money favors Democrats by about 4:1 may surprise a few. Their contributions were also about a quarter of the amounts given by employees at each of the other networks.

Not me, though. Fox News Channel's straight news coverage drips with the same covert slime attack that accompanies all the MSM (mainstream media) outlets. The opinion oriented programming on FNC is more balanced - Hannity vs. Colmes, for example; but the news just repeats all the same sloppy thinking and downright propaganda that you see and hear at other points on the dial: global warming hysteria, stem cell nonsense, etc. The Iraq War is one of the rare exceptions - Linda Vester in particular has been very good at telling the good news as well as the bad, although her Dayside program sort of straddles the news/opinion divide.
